The Donbass Cowboy: A War Journal

Throughout history Communists have been the first to rise up against fascist terror, “Donbass Cowboy” is the story of Russell Bentley who followed in that great tradition when Neo-Nazi elements withing post-Maidan Ukraine started to wage war on the Donbass in 2014. In December 2014, Russell Bentley arrived in Donetsk and joined the people’s militia. Over the next year, call sign “Texas” would fight alongside the people of Donbass and other foreign volunteers against the Nazis of the Ukrainian Army.
